Here are my favorite places around the City of Columbus.
Metro – Milestone 229 – This restaurant features freshly made from scratch comfort food but what draws you in is the unmatched views of downtown Columbus. Plan to spend $80-100 for dinner for two.
German Village – Harvest Pizza – The best pizza I’ve ever had — hands down. This restaurant’s pies are made from scratch from ingredients from local farms and cooked in a stone fired oven. Plan to spend $35-45 on lunch for two.
Brewery District – Arepazo – This restaurant serves authentic south american cuisine and cold sangria that is unparalleled. Plan to spend $70-85 for dinner for two.
Grandview – Hollywood on Third – fantastic quality beef, poultry and seafood menu options. Plan to spend $80-100 for dinner for two.
Hilliard – Starliner Diner – This place is Columbus’ biggest hidden gem. A quirky, colorful space presenting a diverse menu of burritos, pizza, chili, and burgers. This place is great for Sunday brunch. Plan on spending $35-45 on brunch for two.
Upper Arlington – Hyde Park Steak House – This restaurant grills the best fine aged steaks and chops, and fresh seafood. Plan on spending $90-110 for dinner for two.
Dublin – Oscars – Tucked in the north end of Historic Dublin, Oscar’s is a full-service restaurant and wine bar. They have a wide variety of wines while providing a relaxed, rustic ambiance. Plan to spend $75-90 for dinner for two.
Worthington – Worthington Inn – This restaurant is a restored 1831 Victorian-styled pub which provides a unique dinning experience. Plan on spending $75-95 for dinner for two.
Westerville – Monte Carlo – The menu is loaded with generously sized entrees that are sure to satisfy any appetite. The aroma and taste of this Italian cuisine can not be topped in central Ohio. Plan on spending $60-80 on dinner for two.
Gahanna – Kona Grill – This restaurant offers contemporary American favorites, award-winning sushi, and specialty cocktails. All food is made from scratch using only the freshest ingredients. Plan on spending $55-75 for dinner for two.
Who do you think does it better?
